Dorie Hibanada

Jr. High School Honor Choir Director

Dorie Hibanada is the Director of Choral Music at Lemoore High School in Lemoore, CA where she conducts four choral ensembles. Her choirs have performed in China, Italy, New York, Washington DC. and have performed in the Candlelight Processional with the Disney Orchestra at Epcot Center in Disney World, Florida.  Aside from her current position, Ms. Hibanada is also the Director of Music Ministry at Naval Air Station Lemoore.  She has directed and produced the annual spring musical productions at Hanford West High School. Ms. Hibanada has also served as an adjudicator for ACDA honor choir auditions, a guest conductor with the Fresno Master Chorale, and as Vocal Coach for the Good Company Players Junior Company at Roger Rocka’s.  Ms. Hibanada holds a Music B.A. in Music Education, M.A. in Performance from Fresno State University, and a B.A. in Graphic Design from San Diego State University.  She has performed in Good Company Player’s Productions in Fresno, the River Theatre Company, and several musical theater productions in San Diego.  She has performed as a soloist with the Fresno Master Chorale, Coro Piccolo, Soli Deo Gloria, and the Fresno Catholic Diocesan Choir.  In her off time she loves to travel with her husband, local entertainer- Rene Emilio, and Facetime her adorable grandsons living in Virginia and Okinawa, Japan.  Ms. Hibanada is grateful and honored to conduct the FMCMEA Intermediate Honor Choir.
