Rhythm Section Jazz Audition contains ABOVE ETUDES + IMPROVISATION:
Vibes/Guitar/Piano - play the melody to each tune’s A section and be able to comp & improvise on A sections
Drums - groove to the A section of each tune (learn the tune) + improvise on A sections
Bass - play a bass line for each tune’s A section & improvise on A sections
Play the written Etude for comping and groove on one tune from each style - 3 total (Lead sheets provided)
